We are so excited to introduce you to the newest member of our staff. Andrea has a background in marketing for small businesses and a degree in journalism, English, and German from Augustana University in Sioux Falls. Besides being an amazing content creator, Andrea is also super fun and thoughtful. We can't wait to introduce you in person, but for now, get to know her online through the questions below!

Who inspires you?

My closest friends—they each have their own unique talents and ways of making others feel appreciated and loved.

What was the best concert you ever attended?

Last summer, a group of friends and I road-tripped out to Red Rocks in Colorado to see our favorite band Young the Giant. It was amazing!

Where is your favorite place in the world?

The Black Hills. I spent several weeks out there every summer as a kid, so it's a second home.

A koalathey get to live in Australia and sleep almost all day long.

The Longest Way Home by Andrew McCarthy

What are you passionate about?

Spending quality time with friends and loved ones, ideally while exploring a new space.

What’s your favorite movie?

The Princess Bride.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

Snorkeled with an octopus. They're not as cute as they are in cartoons.

What are you currently watching on Netflix?

The Americans (It's on Amazon Prime though, not Netflix!)

Who would you most likely swap places with for a day?

A storm chaser. I've always been fascinated by tornadoes.

Lasagna with homemade pasta.

If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?

Italy!

What are some of your pet peeves?

Chewing loudly and people who are rude to waiters.

What is your favorite family tradition?

Every Christmas Eve, my mom's side of the family gets together at our house in the evening. We eat my mom's famous potato soup, open presents, and if it's not snowing too hard, we'll take a drive around the neighborhood to look at the light displays.

Who is your favorite superhero?

I was an over-the-top girly girl as a kid, so I never really got into superheroes, but if I had to pick now, I'd probably say Batman!
